Police have taped off parts of a residential street.

A cordon is in place in Beaconsfield Road in Canterbury at the junction with Shaftesbury Road.

An air ambulance was also seen taking off from behind the houses at around 8.15pm.

A witness, who did not want to be named, said: "No one I've spoken to seems to know for definite what has happened.

“But there are rumours there has been a stabbing.
