Tiles thrown from shop roof into Seven Stars pub garden in Orange Street, Canterbury

Two youths have been spoken to by police after tiles were hurled from the roof of a city centre store into a pub garden.

Officers were called to Debenhams in Guildhall Street after reports of tiles being thrown into the grounds of the Seven Stars pub in nearby Orange Street.

It happened during the afternoon of Friday, April 12 and they found the suspected offenders in the Orange Street car park.

Police spokesman Sally Smith said the youths had been spoken to and their details taken.

The incident remains under investigation.

The report follows a recent previous similar tile-throwing incident in Guildhall Street.
