Police helicopter searches Canterbury and Bekesbourne for missing person

A police helicopter was deployed to search for a missing person this afternoon.

Officers were called following a report of a missing person in Canterbury at 2.35pm.

It is understood police - including the helicopter - searched the Canterbury and Bekesbourne area.

The person was located and taken to safety.
