Concern is growing for a tattooed man missing from his home in Canterbury since Monday morning.

Steve Hewitt, 56, was last seen by neighbours leaving his flat in Tennyson House, Tennyson Avenue, at 8.30am.

He has grey hair, green eyes and wears glasses, with tattoos of a flower, bird and heart on his arms.

Leading the search, Insp Nick Fordom said: “We are concerned about Mr Hewitt’s state of mind as it is out of character for him not be seen for so long and would appeal to anyone who has seen him to contact police."

Anyone with information should call police on 01622 690690.
