Police probe after ‘£7,000 ring snatched from Canterbury jewellers’

A police probe has been launched and CCTV images released after a £7,000 ring was reportedly stolen.

The incident is said to have happened at a jeweller in Burgate, Canterbury, at about 12.30pm on December 13.

Officers investigating have revealed images of a man and woman they would like to identify, who are thought to have information about the suspected theft.

A police spokesman added: “Anyone who recognises the people in the images or has any information that could assist with enquiries is urged to call 01843 222289, quoting reference 46/219534/23.
