The A257 Littlebourne Road into Canterbury was closed following a crash this afternoon.

Police, ambulance and fire crews were at the scene of the incident between Stodmarsh Road and Swanton Lane.

A man was taken to hospital for treatment following a one-vehicle crash just before 1pm.

Drivers had to find alternative routes in and out of Canterbury while the road was shut.
