Rescued dogs look for a new home

Two cross-breed German shepherd dogs are looking for a new home after being rescued by Swale Borough Council’s stray dog service.

Tim and Daniel were found abandoned in Faversham back in February and taken to Jasmil Kennels.

The kennel workers decided to name them after animal control officer, Tim Oxley and street warden Daniel Bacon, who helped to rescue them.

They have been living at the kennels in Sittingbourne for more than three months and are desperately seeking good, responsible homes.

The brothers are both aged around two and are very lively, boisterous and have a great nature.

"The names the kennels gave these dogs seems to have jinxed them as they’ve been there for so long now," said Tim Oxley.

He added: "As they are brothers, it would be great if they could be rehomed together, but we know this may not be possible.

"If you are able to offer a loving home for either or both of these dogs, you will need to have a secure garden, with lots of space.

"You’ll also have to commit to giving them plenty of exercise, heaps of dedication and lots of love."
