More than 400 former Christ Church sportsmen and women returned to the university at the weekend for a day of competition.

They played hockey, netball, basketball, rugby and lacrosse against the university’s current teams.

The fun-packed sports programme was then followed by social events at the Jolly Sailor pub and Baa Bars nightclub.

It was the 11th year of the event, which is organised by ex-student and former sabbatical officer Ian Blackmore.
