Six friends will don their hard hats and hi-vis jackets later this month to raise money for the Children’s Brain Injury Trust.

Archbishop’s School sixth-formers Alice Mummery, Jenny Oliver, Alex Dawes, Sam Barber, Tilly Glover and Sophie Ellis will be hitting the streets of London for a charity challenge on Friday, March 25.

Dressed as builders, the girls aim to raise as much money as possible, without spending any of their own and make it back to the school within 24 hours.

Alice and the rest of the team chose the Children’s Brain Injury Trust in memory of former Archbishop’s student and friend Tom Brenchley, who died in a serious road accident in July last year, aged 16.

She said: “It’s a very worthy cause and we all knew Tom so well, he was such a great friend.

“We’d really appreciate any donations from businesses or individuals, it will help us on our way and allow us to complete the challenges on the day.”

To help the girls, call Alice on 07715 180337 or email madalice_555@hotmail.co.uk
