The illicit substance, money and phone were seized after they searched the individuals.

A 20-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession of Class A drugs with intent to supply.

Acting sergeant Richard Lorimer said: "We are committed to disrupting and shutting down the drug-dealing networks that target vulnerable people in our communities and I am pleased that, in this instance, Class A drugs and criminal cash have been removed from circulation in Canterbury."

The suspect has been released under investigation while enquiries continue.

Police are urging anyone who believes drug-dealing is taking place in their area to call them on 101, or 999 if a crime is in progress.
