An illegally-parked van is causing tailbacks in part of Herne Bay this afternoon.

The white van was left on double-yellow lines in Gosfield Road.

Police are on the scene and a recovery truck is in the process of towing the van away.

School-run traffic is badly affected, with tailbacks stretching along Canterbury Road.
