Teenager taken to hospital after late-night stabbing in North Lane, Canterbury

A teenage stab victim is in hospital after a late-night city centre attack.

The stabbing happened in North Lane in Canterbury at around 11.20pm last night.

Ambulance crews took the 17-year-old victim to hospital for treatment, although his injuries were not life threatening.

A spokesman for Kent Police said: "The victim suffered a leg wound consistent with being stabbed and was treated by ambulance crews and taken to hospital.

"Officers attended and a search was carried out in the area.

"No arrests have yet been made and inquiries are ongoing."
