A teenager is due to appear in court following his arrest for suspected class A drugs offences.

Police detained the 17-year-old boy after they carried out a search warrant at an address in Roper Road, Canterbury on Friday.

He will appear at Canterbury Youth Court on Monday charged with two counts of possessing illegal drugs.

The teenager, who is from London, was arrested along with a 56-year-old woman from Canterbury. She was subsequently released pending further investigation.
