A man is facing five charges after two teenagers suffered knife wounds in a suspected city centre mugging.

Dean Richards, 32, of London Road, Dover, was arrested after an 18-year-old woman and man aged 19 were reportedly stabbed in a Canterbury underpass.

They were both taken to the Kent and Canterbury hospital for treatment.
