Crash on the A2 near Boughton under Blean causes traffic delays

Drivers experienced delays this morning following a three-car crash on the A2.

It happened on the London bound carriage near Boughton under Blean, on approach to Brenley Corner.

A Mercedes and a Hyundai collided with a third vehicle.

The crash is causing delays

Kent Police and Kent Fire and Rescue attended the scene at 7.10am and closed part of the road while the car and debris were removed.

A spokesman for the police said: "Kent Police was called at 7.10am on Monday, September 2 regarding a collision involving three cars on the Londonbound carriageway of the A2 near Harbledown, Canterbury.

"Officers and the Kent Fire and Rescue Service attended the scene and traffic was slowed with a rolling road while the vehicles and debris were removed from the carriageway.

"The road was fully clear by 8.35am."
