Four people were injured in a crash involving two cars this evening.

The accident happened on the A257 in Littlebourne near Canterbury at about 6pm.

Firefighters had to remove the roof of one car to free two people, one of whom is thought to have suffered spinal injuries.

Two others were treated for shock.

The road was closed while the wrecked cars were removed but has now reopened.
