Three men suffered stab wounds during a disturbance between Canterbury High Street and Canterbury West station

Two teenagers have been remanded in custody after appearing in court charged with GBH following the stabbing of three men in a late night incident in Canterbury.

Matthew Franc, 18, of Sturry Road, Canterbury, and Andre Thomas, 19, from Southwarkin London, appeared at Medway Magistrates Court via videolink from Canterbury police station.

Their arrests follows a disturbance around 11pm between the High Street and Canterbury West Station.

People in the area reported seeing three ambulances and four police cars on the scene.

Three men were taken to hospital but their injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

Thomas and Franc are due to appear at Canterbury Crown Court on January 12.
