Tom wants to improve your quality of life

Meet new community warden Tom Daley who has started work in the area after nine extra ones were appointed across Kent.

Mr Daley, 35, who lives in Canterbury, will cover Herne and Broomfield.

His past roles have mainly been in customer service and he is looking forward to helping people with their problems and wants to improve their quality of life. He can be contacted on 07969 584180.

Colin Davey, 60, who lives in the Canterbury area, has been appointed community warden for Harrietsham and Lenham.

Kent County Council employs the community wardens who work alongside the police.

They wear a uniform and go out on bike or by foot. As well as acting as the eyes and ears of the police, they work with the community to help solve problems and build a strong community spirit.
