Motorists are facing delays on a major route following a crash between a car and van.

Police were called at 12.44pm to the coast-bound A2 between Bridge and Barham.

The van involved is being recovered near the A260 turn off but is stuck in the lane and is causing tailbacks.

Bus operator Stagecoach has warned users via Twitter that its services are being diverted via Wingham and Alyesham to avoid the accident.
