A half-naked urban adventurer has been spotted setting up camp on a busy mini-roundabout sparking claims he has mimicked the city's other roundabout resident.

The cheeky chap was captured by business director Neil Haffenden yesterday walking towards a tent pitched at the roundabout close to the Westgate Towers.

Neil tweeted: "Half naked bloke comin out of a tent on middle of a roundabout in #Canterbury. And no, I haven't a clue."

After it was retweeted by several users speculation mounted the man was imitating Canterbury's other roundabout resident Samuel Capes-Evans.

The 38-year-old has built a shelter behind the trees in the centre of St Peter's roundabout next to the tannery development.

One user tweeted: "Maybe a mickey take from the man who built a tree house on the roundabout further down the road?? was in newspaper."
