Investigation launched after electric bike is stolen in alley off Wildwood Road, Sturry

A man was scratched when two teenagers stole his electric bike.

Police have launched an investigation following the reported robbery in an alleyway off Wildwood Road, Sturry, yesterday (Friday).

An appeal has been launched for information following the theft

It happened at 5.40pm when the victim was in the passageway and two people, believed to be teenage boys, took the bike.

The victim sustained scratches to his arms following a short altercation.

The suspects are described as being around 16-years-old, both with short, dark hair.

They were dressed in dark tracksuits at the time.

Following the incident, they made off into Sturry Park.

Police are now appealing for witnesses or footage of the incident.
