Paramedics gently lift a casualty into the Kent air ambulance on Faversham recreation ground. The drama began earlier when two ambulances were called to the town centre Tesco store.
Then a section of the rec in Whitstable Road was closed off so the air ambulance could touch down. The casualty, a woman in her 50s, was transported by one of the ambulances to the rec.
The helicopter took her to the Queen's Hospital, Romford, in Essex. She was said to be suffering from head injuries. The incident happened at about 5pm Wednesday.
