CCTV appeal after woman injured in Sun Street, Canterbury

A woman suffered an injury to her ear in an attack in a city centre street.

The assault is alleged to have happened in Sun Street, Canterbury on January 11 at about 5.15pm.

Another woman reportedly approached the victim following an altercation at a nearby business.

The woman is then said to have assaulted her causing an injury to her ear and police have launched a CCTV appeal.

A police spokesman added: “An investigation into the incident is being carried out by Canterbury's Victim Based Crime Team and officers have released an image of a woman who may be able to assist with inquiries.”
