Sam Billings will not feature for Sevenoaks Vine in the Kent Cricket League this weekend.

Billings had been due to return for the Vine against Blackheath on Saturday.

But he will now sit that game out - along with a possible Twenty20 outing for Kent 2nds in Somerset on Monday.

"Unfortunately not quite right to play yet so having to pull out of Sevenoaks Vine this weekend & Kent 2s games next Monday," Billings tweeted.

Billings has made remarkable progress since dislocating his shoulder just minutes into his first Kent appearance of the summer in late April.

He was expected to be out for at least three months - and possibly the rest of the summer - but only last week he had pencilled in a return to action at Middlesex in the T20 Blast on August 1.
