KENT County Cricket Club is holding a series of fun days at the St Lawrence Ground at Canterbury to help youngsters burn off Christmas excesses.

Children aged from from five to 11 are being invited to the Ames-Levett Indoor Cricket School. And parents can join in too.

Aimed at boys and girls of all abilities, the emphasis is on activity, enjoyment and fun with the Kent Cricket Board team of well-qualified and experienced coaches.

There is also a parents' quiz and a mini cricket competition, where parents can join in.
