CANTERBURY enjoyed another successful afternoon in National League South with a 41-10 win over Rosslyn Park at Roehampton on Saturday.

While Jonny Wilkinson was reviving England hopes against Scotland a few miles down the road at Twickenham, teenage full back Dave Dorton was again the man in form for the Black and Ambers with five penalties and three conversion, missing only two of his 10 attempts.

Gert De Kock scored two tries, with Michael Melford and Tim Aistrope, in his final appearance before returning home to Australia getting one each. Melford's score, after running clear from the half way line ensured a bonus point, with Dorton's third conversion of the game, his easiest kick of the game.

Canterbury led 24-7 at half time, but Park one of the fallen giants of London club rugby threw everything at the city club in the opening 20 minutes of the second half, when the visitors were without sin-binned number eight Rowan O'Gorman.

The visitors then scored 10 points in a four minute spell to finally kill the game off, and complete a confident display in their first ever visit to South West London.
