AROUND 300 fencers from all over the country are expected to compete in the British Schools’ Championships this weekend.

Saturday will feature the epee tournament in the morning, and sabre in the afternoon, with the foil event on Sunday.

The event is being held at Simon Langton Boys’ School, Nackington Road, Canterbury. Competition is due to start at 9am each day.
