Heino Kuhn has been awarded his Kent county cap 216.
The South African was presented with the cap during the first interval in their day-night Specsavers County Championship match against Middlesex.
The batsman has scored more than 1,000 runs for Kent and his four centuries in five one-day matches is a record in English cricket.
Director of cricket Paul Downton said: “Heino has made a superb impact on and off the pitch.
“We research every signing we make and we received glowing references for Heino as a person and a cricketer.
“Everything we were told was accurate: he’s a terrific batsman, brilliant fielder and great team man who has brought a lot to the team environment as a leader and a role model for our younger players.”
