CANTERBURY'S Natalie Seymour has been called up to England's Champions Challenge squad to replace Leicester's Anne Panter who misses out because of injury.

Seymour, aged 20, has one senior cap which she won when she was called up to replace Sally Walton last November against World Champions the Netherlands, a game which England lost 3-0.

Natalie, who lives in Maidstone, is a Psychology student at the University of Kent. She has just completed her third year with Canterbury HC having played previously for Maidstone HC.

She joins four other club-mates, Hayley Bown, the youngest member of the party at 19, Mel Clewlow, Cathy Gilliat-Smith and Becky Duggan for the trip to Azerbaijan.

Engand start their campaign on June 9 against New Zealand, winners of the last Champions Challenge two years ago.
