Things are getting back to normal - at the Dartford Crossing at least.

Queues of 11 miles have now built back to the Junction 5 of the M25 for the M26.

Motorists heading home or away for the weekend are facing hour-long delays to get through the tunnels and into Essex.

It's because of an earlier accident at the A13 roundabout.

Traffic is being compounded by motorists trying to dodge half-hour-long jams on the coastbound stretch of the M26 at J2A A20 London Road (Wrotham) caused by road works.
