Motorists are facing delays after an accident near Bluewater.

The emergency services were called to the A2 at Bean just after 11.30am following a collision involving two vehicles.

The coastbound carriageway has been blocked and people are thought to be being treated at the scene. Injuries are unknown at this stage.

A spokesman for Kent Police said: "At this stage it is thought two vehicles were involved

"Lanes are reported to be blocked.

"South East Coast Ambulance Service is at the scene."
