Drivers facing delays in rush-hour traffic after accident near the Dartford Crossing

Drivers are facing delays in rush-hour traffic tonight after an accident on the approach to the Dartford Crossing.

The Highways Agency has closed one lane on the anti-clockwise carriageway of the M25 between junctions 2 at Dartford and junction 31 at Thurrock.

A fifth man has been charged over the discovery of a multi-million pound cannabis shipment near the Dartford Crossing.

Delays of up to 20 minutes because of congestion are expected with normal conditions expected to resume at 6.10pm.
