Greenhithe woman accused of stealing from M&S in Darent Valley Hospital, Dartford

A 64-year-old woman is due in court accused of stealing from a hospital's Marks and Spencer on 114 occasions.

Roopmala Appavoo has been charged with a single count of theft covering all the alleged incidents.

The store is based inside Darent Valley Hospital

She is said to have targeted the store inside Dartford's Darent Valley Hospital between March 2 and June 21.

In total, items worth £1,024 are alleged to have been taken from the business.

Appavoo, of Louvain Road, Greenhithe, was arrested by police yesterday and released on bail to attend Medway Magistrates' Court on August 25.
