Hilarious Joe Pasquale descended on Kent shores for the launch of his pantomime Peter Pan.

The squeaky-voiced comedian will be playing Captain Hook's sidekick Smee in this year's panto at the Orchard Theatre in Dartford.

He spared us a few moments at the launch on Thursday aboard HMS Gannet at Chatham's Historic Dockyard to tell us why this time round he wanted not only to act in the production but to direct too.

The I'm A Celebrity..Get Me Out of Here star will be performing alongside Alex Giannini as Captain Hook, Lila McConigley as Tiger Lily and Charlie Bruce as Wendy.

Peter Pan will be running at the Orchard Theatre from Friday December 5 to January 11. Tickets can be booked by calling 01322 220000.
