Cyclist dies after collision with Ford Fiesta in Watling Street, Bean

Witnesses are being asked to come forward after a cyclist died after his bike was in collision with a grey Ford Fiesta.

The incident happened at around 5pm yesterday on the A296 Watling Street in Bean, near Darent Valley Hospital.

The man, who was riding a black pedal cycle, suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene.

Police have been called to the scene

Officers from the serious collision investigation unit are appealing for anyone with information, who has not already been in contact, to get in touch.

Witnesses are asked to call the appeal line on 01622 798538 quoting reference MS/257/17.
