A TEENAGER was forced to hand over his bike after being threatened by a group of youths in a park.

The 17-year-old victim was approached as he rode his dark grey BMX bike - worth around £200 - through Central Park, Dartford, at around 6pm last Saturday.

The group of around 12 youngsters included one boy, aged around 17, who threatened to punch the victim. He had short brown hair and was wearing a black t-shirt, and black tracksuit.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident, which happened in the park's basketball court, to come forward.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 01474 565284 or Kent Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.
