A boy of nine was taken to hospital after being hit by two cars in Dartford.

The youngster was struck by a Ford Focus as he stepped out into Trevithick Drive on Monday afternoon (June 7).

He was then hit again when he was knocked into the path of an oncoming VW Polo.

The boy suffered suspected leg injuries and an ambulance took him to Darent Valley Hospital at about 3.10pm. Police said he turned out to have just cuts and bruises.
