Dartford brothers Rishi and Hardeep Bungar admit trying to sell counterfeit clothes on their market stall after Trading Standards investigation

Two brothers narrowly avoided jail after counterfeit clothing was seized by Kent Trading Standards officers at their market stall in Dartford.
Rishi Bungar, 23, and Hardeep, 24, of Heath Road, Dartford, admitted possessing and trying to sell nearly 600 clothing items with false trademarks.
Their company Bungar Brothers sold hoodies, tracksuits and t-shirts bearing well known brands such as Adidas, Ralph Lauren, Armani, Superdry and Stone Island.
The case was heard at Dartford Magistrates Court after Kent County Council launched proceedings.
Rishi, previously prosecuted for similar offences, was sentenced to 60 days in prison, suspended for two years, and ordered to carry out 300 hours unpaid work.
While Hardeep was also given a community order for 200 hours unpaid work.
The company was also fined £1,000.
Richard Strawson, KCC Trading Standards Manager, said: "We have put paid to this criminal conduct which was defrauding consumers and legitimate businesses.
"As can be seen from this case, those who deal in counterfeit goods can expect to be prosecuted in Kent and can face prison sentences as a result."
