Police are investigating after a car burst into flames this morning.

Fire crews were called at 5.30am this morning to Edgar Close, a small cul-de-sac in Swanley, where they found an abandoned car up in flames.

Officers were called to the scene at 6.16am and remained there for most of the morning carrying out inquiries.

Firefighters remained at the scene for an hour and a half.
