A woman is appealing for information after her car was wrecked in a collision where the driver made off.

Emma Beveridge was told by her neighbour late on Sunday night that someone had collided with her parked black Citroen, destroying one of the wheels.

She is now hoping to hear from anyone that may have witnessed the incident in Henderson Drive, Dartford.

Mrs Beveridge said: "I got woken up by a neighbour at 11.45pm telling me someone had hit my car. I didn't think it would be that bad.

"I went to check it with my neighbour and you can see straight away it's a write off. One of my other neighbours was already down stairs and shouted for the other driver to stop as they had ditched the car and ran off.

"The other car ended up by the corner of Keyes Road by Tesco.

"I called police straight away and they got to us about 2.15am and they have taken the other car away."
