Jonathan Fortune is returning to Charlton Athletic as one of three new signings made by boss Phil Parkinson on the eve of transfer deadline day.

Fortune rejoins the Addicks on a short-term contract until Christmas following the end of his spell at Sheffield United last season.

Parkinson (pictured) has also swooped to sign 30-year-old Dagenham & Redbridge striker Paul Benson for an undisclosed fee and 25-year-old ex-Carlisle attacker Joe Anyinsah on a free.
