Cyclist of 11 seriously hurt after collision with Vauxhall Corsa, Dovedale Road, Dartford

A child cyclist has been seriously hurt in a crash with a car.

The 11-year-old girl was injured at 4pm yesterday as she was riding along Princes Road in Dartford.

The child then cycled onto Dovedale Road when he was hit by a Vauxhall Corsa.

Emergency services attended and the victim was taken to a London hospital with serious injuries to her head, chest and leg.

Officers from Kent Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit are now appealing for witnesses.
