Traffic is queuing into a busy shopping centre after two vehicles collided.

One lane has been closed on the B255 leading into Bluewater Shopping Centre in Greenhithe after a crash between two vehicles just after 1.30pm today which left one woman with injuries.

Queues are building up down the A2 towards London and traffic was still heavy three hours later.

A spokesman for Kent Police said: “There was a collision involving two vehicles in Bean Lane, which was reported to us at 1.35pm.

“Officers and ambulance crews attended, and a woman was treated for injuries which were not believed to be serious.

“Road closures remain in place, and which are leading to delays.”
