Fire crews spent nearly 90 minutes tackling a large field ablaze in Swanley tonight.

They said around two hectares of grass went up in flames in Hockenden Lane.

It started at around 6.45pm and took until 8.07pm to bring under control.

Firefighters used hose reels and beaters to tackle the flames.

Three engines attended, including two from London Fire Brigade.
