Firefighters tackle kitchen blaze in Farnol Road, Dartford

Three fire engines were called to a fire that started in a kitchen.

Crews from the fire service attended a blaze in Farnol Road, Dartford, which started at around 10am.

They were called to the property after receiving reports of a fire on the second floor of a property.

When they arrived at the scene they found the fire in the kitchen and firefighters tackled the blaze with breathing apparatus, a hose reel jet and a covering jet.

The fire was stopped at around 11.30am.

No casualties were reported and the cause is unknown.
