Traffic is queueing in both directions near the Dartford Crossing this morning after a crash.

The accident between a car and work vehicle occurred on the clockwise carriageway of the M25, just before junction 1B.

Traffic was briefly held just after 7am as the crash had partially blocked a lane but has now re-opened.

However, delays remain in both directions, with congestion stretching clockwise back over the QEII Bridge and anti-clockwise back towards junction 2 for the Darenth Interchange.

Drivers are advised to allow more time for their journeys where possible.

Kent Police said it was not required to attend.
