The QE2 Bridge is set to close overnight at the weekend.

The bridge will close this Saturday (October 8) at 10pm for around six hours to allow a generator to be moved from Littlebrook Power Station in Dartford to Tilbury Docks.

Traffic will be re-routed through the tunnels.

The generator, which will be escorted by police, is eventually being taken to South Africa.
