Dartford manager Tony Burman is keen to get points on the board early in the Blue Square Bet Premier.

The Darts start their return to the top-flight of non-league football with a home game against Tamworth.

Burman said: "It will be a fantastic day for everyone connected with the club.

"It is not going to be easy but if we stick together on and off the pitch, we will be all right. We want a result to get the ball rolling now."

Chairman Dave Skinner, who is expecting a crowd of between 1,500 and 1,800 for the season’s opener, added: "It’s a day for everyone to enjoy."
