Dartford must negotiate a tricky FA Trophy third qualifying round tie at Eastbourne Borough on Saturday.

After guiding the club to the third round of last season’s competition, boss Tony Burman knows victory on Saturday could prove the catalyst for a return to form in the league.

He added: "It’s a cup game, so we might take one or two more risks.

"Having said that, we want to be in the next round and know it’ll be a tough game.

"We’re not far off. We haven’t lost games but because we’ve progressed so well, a draw is now feeling like a loss. That’s the standard we’ve set ourselves."

Skipper Elliot Bradbrook (pictured) misses the trip to East Sussex through suspension after receiving five cautions.

Dartford have a chance to make up some ground on the leaders when Woking visit Princes Park on Tuesday night.
