Delays after car fire on M25 at Darenth Interchange

A car fire on the M25 caused long delays this evening.

Two fire engines were called to the blaze which seriously damaged an Audi estate car between junctions 3 and 2 on the anti-clockwise carriageway.

Two lanes were closed while firefighters put out the burning car.

It is not thought anyone has been injured.

The road reopened just before 6pm.
